Although the pandemic presented a challenge in that enrollment was lower than usual, that had a significant benefit. The success brought about by this benefit is that for the first time I experienced the improved student to instructor ratio. Each of my students benefitted by receiving much more one-on-one time from which in turn resulted in them having a better understanding of machining than the students gained in any previous term.

MATT courses were capped at 20 pre-covid and at 16 during covid. In Fall of 2019 enrollment average was 16, Spring 2020 12, and Summer 2020 5. These students averaged well above C.
