MLT Program has continued with fully online theory courses and face-to-face labs. 2020-2021 saw the successful graduation of 12 students. The biggest challenge was managing two labs running at the same time. We were able to connect the classes via Zoom and encourage student interaction in online forums.

    Interpretation of Assessment findings
    Knowledge: Students are meeting and exceeding the minimum criteria. The Fundamentals of Laboratory Operations exam maintained a greater than C average for previous 3 years. Laboratory Operation ASCP scores indicate student learning is acceptable. Behaviors: Students are meeting and exceeding the minimum criteria. The Professionalism Research Paper shows a greater than C average. Student performance in clinical sites is maintaining a greater than C average.
