Part 2: Program Summary
Provide a high level review of the program to include highlights, successes, challenges, significant changes, and significant resources needed to support the program |
---|
The program is a very popular program with students and the community. The SPT faculty do not have a clear understanding of the importance of following up with the students to collect employment and satisfaction surveys. This hinders our assessment efforts. With the data that was collected, the two cohorts did very well. Outcome #1-Functions of Central Supply and SPD Departments-scored an 84% with Spring 21 and 86% with Summer 21. Outcome number 2-Sciences-scored an 81% with Spring 21 and 76% with Summer 21. Outcome #3-Types of Sterilization scored 96% with Spring 21 and 92% with Summer 21. Outcome #4-Stock Rotation scored an 85% with Spring 21 and 89% with Summer 21. Outcome #6-Instrumentation scored 100% with both Spring 21 and Summer 21. This meets the threshold of 70% for every outcome. |
