Part 2: Program Summary
Provide a high level review of the program to include highlights, successes, challenges, significant changes, and significant resources needed to support the program |
---|
Over the 2021-2022 cycle there has been a significant number of changes in our program. We successfully transitioned all our lab courses back to face-to-face instruction. We had the previous AAD/Program director move up to become an Associate Dean, moved one full-time faculty to Program Director, and gained a new Associate Dean. We have struggled with staffing courses with the program director being taken from full-time faculty and had one full-time faculty member move out of state and resign. We have completed the onboarding of 6 new part-time faculty to help with courses. According to allschoolonline.org, the CNM EMS Paramedic Program ranked third in the country. This result was based off of CNM's diverse population, course offerings, scholarship opportunities, facilities, and faculty. |

Summarize how your program met or did not meet the target measures based on the data above |
---|
All thresholds have been met with the exception of the "Pass rate with a C at 60%" I believe this is due to the program being a full year long and many students selecting the paramedic degree as their major but never joining the Paramedic Program.
