Provide a high level review of the program to include highlights, successes, challenges, significant changes, and significant resources needed to support the program
The Transportation Technology program provides instruction supporting the five technical outcomes during the first year, which allows students to earn their certificate in one year. The college’s core competencies are the focus of education and training during a student’s second year, which allows students to earn an AAS degree. As such, the program technical outcomes are measured and reported via the certificate SAA report and, since there should be no change in the students technical skills during their second year, program outcomes are neither assessed nor reported. As such, Students enrolled in NC3/Snap-on training for certifications. Students are above the national average for first term courses according to EOP test exams.
