Program highlights include adding face to face courses back to the Nutrition schedule. The Nutrition program also offered a Nutrition Students Mixer/Meeting via Zoom. Students were able to meet CNM and UNM Nutrition faculty as well as become connected with other Nutrition majors and ask questions/gain information about future study and careers in the field.
Challenges included the the lack of enrollment in face to face courses, which resulted in canceling several of them before the start of term. Another challenge was the continued lower enrollment CNM-wide, which limited course offerings and part time instruction. Also, one of the Nutrition full-time instructors retired in early Fall 2021.
