Part 2: Program Summary

Provide a high level review of the program to include highlights, successes, challenges, significant changes, and significant resources needed to support the program
CNM's nursing program has returned to in-person learning, with full clinical groups at clinical sites. In Summer 22, Level 1 students returned to long-term care settings, completing the transition to full pre-covid clinical experiences.

Interpretation of Assessment findings
GLOs reflect HESI exit exam scores in specific categories relating to the specific learning outcome. Only categories with a question n value of greater than 30 have been chosen in order to provide statistically valid data. The exception is GLO 6, technology, as there are very limited numbers of categories available within the HESI E2 Exit exam for evaluation. The data is less statistically valid because of the low question n values, so the ELA is set to 65%. Number of students at threshold is used as the criterion due to the group effect of using cumulative averages. The average score across all categories is uniformly above the 825 threshold that has been associated with student success on NCLEX, so identifying individual scores provides much more actionable data. Students are meeting this standard at rates higher than 75% (GLOs 1-5) or 65% (GLO 6) in both objective (HESI exam scores) and subjective (clinical summative evaluations) criteria. Outcomes are within expected levels of achievement.
