The program in this cycle is in recovery from low enrollment during COVID. The cohorts who make up these groups registered in 2020 and 2021. Here is an overview of the numbers. Powerplant: 6/7 Students completed the Powerplant Certificate. Employment: Local Employers contacted CNM AVMT looking for technicians including Bode Aviation, AerSale Landing Gear Solutions, New Mexico Aero, Robert Mudd in Moriarity, etc. National employers include American Airlines and Skywest Airlines who both contacted us for recruitment. Boeing published an employment outlook report which stated Aviation Maintenance is an above average growth trend for the next 15 years.

The lower number of 6 Powerplant Certificate graduates is the result of low enrollment during COVID.

6/7 Students graduated from the Powerplant Certificate. 1 Student tested with the FAA for the Powerplant written and scored an 86% which is above the National Average.
Interpretation of Assessment findings
The smaller class size is from lower enrollment during COVID. The assessment cycle ended when the students graduated from the Powerplant Certificate. More students will test with the FAA and it will be seen in the next cycle.
