The CNM Law Enforcement Academy has continued to develop a positive reputation with law enforcement agencies in the state of New Mexico. We have averaged 2-3 new agencies each class who are sponsoring cadets to attend the CNMLEA. Class 11, which is scheduled to start on January 8, 2024, currently has 19 of 25 available seats reserved. As of Fall 2023, 21 different regional law enforcement agencies from throughout the State of New Mexico have sponsored students to attend training at the CNMLEA. This continued growth of the program creates the drive to continually improve the training. |

The CNMLEA program has continued to meet or surpass all of the established targets. During Fall 2022-Spring 2023, the CNMLEA ran 2 classes resulting in a total of 41 graduates. This was the most graduates in a school year since the inception of the program. The average fill rate increased from the previous year and should continue to grow as the program continues to build and develop a positive reputation within law enforcement agencies in the State of New Mexico. Our student retention rate continues to be well above those of other law enforcement academies in the state. At 90%, the C-pass rate is well above the target of 60% and improved marginally from the previous year. Improvement in this area will continue as we work to improve the methodology in which we deliver the curriculum. It should be noted that an issue with data farming was identifies and corrected which caused the data from 2020-21 and 2021-2022 to not accurately reflect program performance and success. |

| The assessed standard of 90% of students passing written exams and assignments with a minimum score of 75% was successfully met. Of the three courses assessed, 90% of students in LEA 1015 met the standard and 100% of the students successfully met the standard in LEA 1014 and LEA 1005. |

The course assessment data shows students are meeting and exceeding the course criteria for learning. The students who are able to successfully complete the CNMLEA program possess the knowledge to pass the certification exam. The 100% success rate on the certification exam is a clear indication of the success of the program and that the ultimate goal of the program is being met. |
