Part 2: Program Summary

Provide a high level review of the program to include highlights, successes, challenges, significant changes, and significant resources needed to support the program
Significant Changes: I was hired for this term as the program director and full time instructor as of Fall 2023. Changes also needed so that there is data to support our assessment.

Summarize how your program met or did not meet the target measures based on the data above
Average class fill rate- Above target- however has trended down slightly since 2020- 2021 at 80% , 2021-2022 at 75%, and 2022-2023 at 76%. I do believe that COVID may have some effect here as well as need to advertise. Which did start this summer 2023. I plan to continue this with High school Career Days, Health Fairs, and advertisement and local gyms. Annual retention - Above target- 2020-2021 88%, 2021-2022-89%, 2022-2023- 88% Annual C pass rate- Above Target- is steady at 2020-2021- 72%, 2021-2022- 72%, 2022-2023 72% Annual number of graduates- last year was above- 12 for 2022-2023, however prior was steady at 8 for 2020-2021, and 2021-2022- As stated above I do believe that some of this was due to COVID. I would like to see the the trend continue to increase with more than above average graduation rates. With advertisement, and class scheduling being more conductive to student completion, courses offered at more convenient times and core courses offered both Spring and Fall. This should occur.
