The student will obtain the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Section 608 Type III Certification when the student passes the certification exam given by ESCO Institute. With this certification, the student will be able to maintain, service, repair, or dispose of low-pressure appliances, such as centrifugal and chillers.

For this cycle (2022-2023), our program's data as follow: Average class fill rate is 82%. Annual retention rate is 93%. Annual C-pass rate for coursework is 77%. Annual number of graduates is 13. Our program's data met the targets listed.

    Interpretation of Assessment findings
    Fall 2022: 17 out of 18 students passed the EPA 608 Type III Certification Exam after the retakes. 11 out of 18 students passed on the 1st attempt. 6 out of 18 students passed on the re-takes. Spring 2023: 14 out of 15 students passed the EPA 608 Type III Certification Exam after the retake. 14 out of 15 students passed on the 1st attempt. Overall findings: 31 out of 33 students passed the EPA 608 Type III Certification Exam. The passing rate is 93.9% which is lower than the expect Master Level of 100%.
