Part 2: Program Summary

Provide a high level review of the program to include highlights, successes, challenges, significant changes, and significant resources needed to support the program
The Automotive Service Fundamentals Certificate received very high enrollment figures. Snap-on/NC3 training was re-introduced after the pandemic. Students are responding very well to the online portion of the program. Challenges: With the onset of the Electric Vehicle, (EV), space has become a premium. Hiring instructors to fill open positions has been difficult

Summarize how your program met or did not meet the target measures based on the data above
Average class fill rate has dropped 9%. This largely due to a Full-time instructor has retired and the instructor that usually runs a full cohort of first term was moved to second term. Classes are filling with wait lists every semester. Hiring new faculty will address this issue. The withdrawal rate of students is 5%. This represents a high number based on many first term students are making decisions on their career Annual C-pass rate has increased to 81% which is 3% higher than last cycle. Annual number of graduates is up 2 to 67. This displays that with losing a full time instructor and moving an instructor to second term, the quality of teaching has remained if not risen.

      Interpretation of Assessment findings
In the past we used S/P2, a third party supplier. They recent changed their platform did not allow us to get data on this assessment. Instead, the students were presented ethics topics and their responses discussed as a class. In the future we will be able to gain access to past records through Fusion TPC learning. Students complete an End of program exam to measure their knowledge. The findings are listed below. Automotive Service 11 students 10 PASS 1 FAIL Brakes: 11 Students 8 PASS 3 FAIL Suspension and Alignment: 11 Students 10 PASS 1 FAIL Electrical: 11 Students 11 PASS 0 FAIL
