    Starting Fall 2023 we adopted Publisher materials to replace the OER materials we had previously for the Microsoft apps part of the course.
    Students didn't get enough reinforcement to retain information presented in OER form because of limitations in grading--instructors can't give instant feedback as publisher materials can so we didn't have as many assignments as we have now. Also the speed of giving feedback was not ideal so that students could use it to improve their knowledge before taking the exam when we were using OER.
