Interpretation of Assessment findings |

Learning Outcomes 1 and 2: In comparison to the prior academic year's results, there was a significant increase (approximately 15%) in the percentage of students receiving a score of 75% or higher (from 53.57% to 69.49%) and an increase in the average grade on the both the Final Exam and specifically, the Final Exam, Bank Reconciliation problem. The Acct 1135 course team will continue to monitor these results over the next year to confirm that the percentage of students meeting these targets continues.
Learning Outcome #3: In comparison to the prior academic years', results, there has been a steady decline in the average grade on the Acct 1150 common final exam score over the last 3 academic years. The 1150 course team will analyze the Final Exam results question by question to determine if there are specific questions that more than 50% of the students are answering incorrectly. The team will then determine if these questions need to be re-written or replaced. |
