Target: 75% of students will receive a score of 75% or higher on the Acct 1135 common final exam. Result: Target not met. 69.49% of students received a score of 75% or higher on the Acct 1135 common final exam. The average grade on the common final exam was 78.58%.
2. Prepare common accounting documents, such as journals, ledgers, and financial statements.

Target: 75% of students will receive a score of 75% or higher on the bank reconciliation problem on the Acct 1135 common final exam. Results: Target not met. 64.41% of students received a score of 75% or higher on the bank reconciliation problem on the Acct 1135 common final exam. The average grade on this bank reconciliation problem was 73.89%

Target: Students will average 71% or higher on the Acct 1150 common final exam. Result: Target met. The average score on the Acct 1150 common final exam was 79.75%. The average score on the QuickBooks common final exam for the 2021/2022 academic year was 82.34%.
Interpretation of Assessment findings
Learning Outcomes 1 and 2: In comparison to the prior academic year's results, there was a significant increase (approximately 15%) in the percentage of students receiving a score of 75% or higher (from 53.57% to 69.49%) and an increase in the average grade on the both the Final Exam and specifically, the Final Exam, Bank Reconciliation problem. The Acct 1135 course team will continue to monitor these results over the next year to confirm that the percentage of students meeting these targets continues. Learning Outcome #3: In comparison to the prior academic years', results, there has been a steady decline in the average grade on the Acct 1150 common final exam score over the last 3 academic years. The 1150 course team will analyze the Final Exam results question by question to determine if there are specific questions that more than 50% of the students are answering incorrectly. The team will then determine if these questions need to be re-written or replaced.
