Obtain, process and create GIS data layers appropriate to a particular research topic using a variety of techniques including field data collection, downloading from Internet, manual digitizing and other methods.Are students able to successfully complete the learning outcome? I would hypothesize that yes, nearly all of our students will be able to do so, given that the bulk of our curriculum is hands-on work, doing the above.

This summary supports original hypothesis. Results indicate students are currently obtaining the desired skills, SLO's, that enable them to satisfactorily complete the project.
