Describe any change in student achievement observed as part of this assessment process, and what led to those changes.
The results were in the same general ballpark of achievement - validating the need to update the link between PLOs and Student Learning Objectives. In the future, we may need to look at/think about raising the bar on the level of the desired achievement levels
Describe long-term changes in the program(s) that the assessment process led to, and what motivated those changes?
Yes - BHT Business Administration is updating the PLOs for every program to improve the value of the data being collected. This will improve the link between the Program Outcomes and the Course Learning Outcomes with Bloom's Taxonomy being better applied in an active learning way.
What did you learn about the teaching and learning of "Practicing Community" in your programs?
We needed to start the long overdue process of improving out PLOs for each degree and certificate to ensure they have a more practical "flavor" to help address the needs of the local business community (as addressed in Advisory Council meetings.
Describe any external factors affecting the program or affecting assessment of the program.
As faculty becomes more knowledgeable about Artificial Intelligence, the classroom and assignments will adapt to the new technology better, but this should improve students' interest and achievement levels based on higher degree of curiosity.
Internships continue to be an interest in the Advisory Council meetings, so the more practical we make our PLOs the better for the inherent needs of the local business community.
